15.01.2023 - PAVITR Workshop @ IWA Water Reuse Conference, Chennai, India

 

PAVITR organised a workshop on Novel and Innovative Solutions for Safe Water Reuse in India along the IWA water Reuse Conference in Chennai, India on 15th January 2023.

Nadeem Khalil (AMU) and Guenter Langergraber (BOKU) organised the PAVITR workshop.

Following a general presentation of the PAVITR concept, the PAVITR experts presented Technologies for safe water reuse:

• Short Rotation Plantation, presented by Mirko Hänel (TTZ)
• High Rate Algae Pond, presented by Enrica Uggetti (UPC)
• Richwater SBR, presented by Antonia Lorenzo (BIOAZUL)
• Wetland Systems. presented by Fabio Masi (IRIDRA) and
• Sensors, presented by Santiago Cuervo (AIMEN)

To complete these presentations, Guenter Langergraber (BOKU), a replacement for Ganbataar Khurelbaatar, (UFZ) and Carlos Arias (AU) presented important factors for implementation in term of Planning and in term of Resources recovery & market exploitation.

A Panel discussion with the presenters moderated by Guenter Langergraber concluded the PAVITR workshop.
